When we exercise, our bodies sustain micro-damage. This is normal, but also the reason why recovery after training is so important.

If you get post-training recovery right, your body will repair itself stronger than before. But if you keep on pushing your training and don’t implement good recovery habits, all of the micro-trauma sustained during training will add up and cause an injury.
